The tale of big ben pub

Our

STORY

We are named after the famous bell in the clock tower at the houses of Parliament in London. The bell weighs about 14 metric tons. 9 feet in diameter and more than 7 feet high. Big Ben first rang out in 1859. It was installed at a time when the tall and stout Sir Benjamin Hall was commissioner of works. He was nicknamed "Big Ben" and members of Parliament named the bell for him.
